Monfils bows out early in the Final Madrid OpenGael Monfils crashed out of the Madrid Open in what was his final appearance at the tournament. The 37-year-old, who plans to retire at the end of next season, lost 6-3, 6-4 to Camilo Ugo Carabelli in the first round of the ATP Masters 1000 event.
