Ski mountaineering proposed to IOC Session as an additional sport for French Alps 2030
Ski mountaineering has been proposed as an additional sport for the French Alps 2030 Olympic Winter Games. This proposal, which will be put to the 146th International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session (Extraordinary) later this month in Lausanne, Switzerland, was made today by the IOC Executive Board (EB) following a proposal by the Organising Committee (OCOG), which had been reviewed by the IOC’s Olympic Programme Working Group (OPWG).
